The ButtKicker^® shaker can be attached to couches, recliners, theater seats, on platforms, in simulators, dance floors, stages, cages, specialty rides, virtual reality simulators, immersion systems, movie theaters, amusement park attractions and other entertainment venues.

The ButtKicker^® Shaker allows for a very powerful perception of sound reproduction, without airborne sound waves....(Now people can be in peace on the other side of the house without the loud, annoying "boom" from a subwoofer.)

How much power (amplification) does a ButtKicker^®  Shaker require?  What does the ButtKicker^®  Shaker respond to? What signal does it use? Does an existing soundtrack or show need to be modified? Is a crossover required?
Each shaker requires at least 300 watts of power, but a high fidelity amplifier is not required. An inexpensive but powerful amplifier works fine.  The shaker is activated by the low frequency information from any soundtrack source. Existing or new show soundtracks may be augmented to enhance the Shaker’s effect, but it is not required. Although a passive or active crossover may be used it is not required.
